PDCs IN FULL OPERATION DESPITE COVID-19

March 31, 2020 - Navistar’s parts organization is diligently tracking its parts supply base to minimize potential disruptions as a result of COVID-19. Currently all parts distribution centers (PDCs) are up and running. We have prevention measures in place and transition plans for our packagers, carriers and PDCs IF a situation causes us to implement our contingency plans. We have also collaborated with our dealers to stock incremental parts inventory to help the industry move as effectively as possible during this time of uncertainty.

MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS CONTINUE TO MEET CUSTOMER DEMAND

March 25, 2020 - Manufacturing operations continue with Navistar monitoring and staying in touch with hundreds of suppliers (including those in China, Mexico and other countries) to assure that truck manufacturing continues and interruptions are avoided or minimized. Springfield Assembly Plant was shut down due to supplier situation which disrupted the parts flow for some truck models; the plant is expected to resume operations on April 6. School bus production in Tulsa continues. In addition, plants are donating respirator masks and goggles to local hospitals and also looking into the possibility of manufacturing ventilators.
