SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Tyler came to Norfolk Truck Center in 2020 as a student from Tidewater Community College working on his degree for “Associate of Applied Science with a Specialization in Medium/Heavy Truck Service Technician”. He has very fond memories of working on trucks with dad when he was a youngster and that passion turned into a career path. Since being with Norfolk Truck Center, Tyler has finished his degree, earned his Virginia State Inspectors license, and completed many certifications for Navistar training. His interest and productivity continue to grow as he remains diligent and consistent in all of his duties. He always has an upbeat, positive attitude and is always willing to lend a hand. Adam Badduik, Fort McMurray, AB Canada | Diamond International Trucks

SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Adam has worked in a fleet environment throughout most of his career at Diamond International, Alberta Canada. Although he is new to the Navistar brand, he has been dedicated to expanding his knowledge about the product. Over the last year, he has excelled at the dealership and has become a valuable asset to Diamond International Trucks.

This past winter, during an extreme cold alert, Adam went to a remote area on a service call. Unfortunately, the unit was not able to be repaired in the field and the tow truck was hours away. Adam took it upon himself to bring the driver back into town in his personal vehicle long after regular business hours.

Adam is our acting lead tech on the weekend shift and consistently leads and assists with other technicians. He never hesitates to take initiative on repairs and determine the underlying cause. He is eager to develop and expand his knowledge to achieve greater successes in the future with Diamond International Trucks. In addition, Adam is dedicated to repairing vehicles right the first time and in the most efficient way to maintain uptime and customer satisfaction.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Bryan is one of the most dedicated and loyal International Cornhusker employees, making the time to be up to date on all iKNow information, schooling, and bettering himself every day. He Is my "Go to Tech,"  and his attention to detail and following all steps to get the repair done is impeccable.  You never have to ask Bryan if he performed a step in his repair, because his diagnostics story tells you step by step what he did in the repair. This makes him a warranty claim repair dream. He is meticulous in his work, his shop area, his attitude, his willingness to teach up-and-coming techs, and his end results.  Bryan is the tech you don't have to check on, because he strives to getting the job done right and does not stop until he has exhausted all avenues.

Bryan had a unit come in which had been to 2 other shops for the same fuel issue. Another shop just did an R & R on the fuel filter, but Bryan diagnosed the real issue, which was algae in the fuel. He then took all necessary measures to make sure the repair was complete, including dropping the fuel tank and  cleaning it and the fuel lines, fuel filters, and fuel filter housings. Five months later this customer still has not had the issue return because of Bryan’s initiative and thoroughness. He’s the type of tech you would want to clone and have 10 of him working for you. Bryan's work ethic and dedication to Cornhusker International and the Navistar brand is something to be very proud of, and I look forward to helping him reach his goals of one day becoming shop foreman, then service advisor, and then manager.
