Elliot Dauphinais, Drummondville, QC | Centre Du Camion BeauDOIN

International Trucks Technician

SERVICE TECHNICIAN

As a service advisor, I observe the progress of all our technicians and the satisfaction of each of our customers. Elliot is a technician who began as an apprentice at the shop. During this time, he significantly improved many of his skills and demonstrated a strong willingness to learn more. Now, he is a full-time technician at Centre du Camion Beaudoin, dedicated to his job, ensuring quality and efficiency in every truck he repairs. In other words, he performs the same tasks as most of our veteran technicians despite having fewer years of experience. One of the most complex tasks he has undertaken here is replacing all the pass-through connector seals on a Cummins ISL 9 in an HV truck, following the procedure meticulously and double-checking his work at every step. He sought quick tips from the foreman a couple of times during the repair to ensure the quality and efficiency of his work. He completed it in an impressively short amount of time, which is why we were able to deliver the truck to the customer the same night.

Elliot demonstrates strong leadership when assisting new technicians with their questions or helping other technicians when needed. He takes the initiative on new tasks he has never done before and never hesitates to seek advice from veteran technicians or the foreman. He consistently completes jobs on time without compromising on quality. Elliot has consistently shown a high level of productivity since he started as a student, always ensuring that the trucks don't break down on the road and aiming to complete repairs the same night because he understands that customers need their trucks the next morning. Elliot is the best rookie member of our team; he never gives up and always goes above and beyond in his work. He is always eager to take on new challenges and consistently rises to the occasion.

If we could have more technicians like him, we would be unbeatable in terms of efficiency and the quality of our work compared to every other dealer.

Robert Morales, Davenport, FL | Sun State International

International Trucks Technician

SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Robert has only been at Sun State International for a couple of years and has quickly become one of our lead technicians. Robert finished all his LMS and Cummins training and just finished the EV hands-on training. Robert is hungry for knowledge.

Orange County Public School District has purchased three EV buses. Robert has been working with Navistar on getting these fixed so they can be delivered. Robert will work weekends and extra hours to get these buses to the customer. Robert's attitude is top-notch, and he is not scared to tackle any job, big or small. One of the EV buses for Orange County had a charging issue. Robert took it upon himself to troubleshoot the charging issue — he swapped the OCI with the sister EV bus and that bus started charging. Robert is always at the top of the sold hours report. He understands the importance of following the FCAPs. Robert's work ethic and attitude will take him far in life. I can see Robert moving up and taking over the shop one day.

He is known as one of our top producers, an embodiment of a positive, motivating team player, and a respected figure on the shop floor among the other technicians. Andrew's dedication to his work is truly commendable. Day in and day out, he consistently demonstrates an exceptional commitment to excellence. He gives every truck a thorough inspection after the customer’s concerns are diagnosed to ensure they are aware of any other issues that might affect uptime, keeping their trucks on the road and operating safely.
