Things were simpler in 1926. It was a time before car seats were mandatory for children. And as we can see here, before any seats at all were mandatory. Here, a girl on the running board of an International truck from East Moriches, on Long Island, N.Y. We’re sure H.M. Reeve and Sons eventually let her ride inside the cab.
