Having been a diesel technician at an International® Dealership, I understand the importance of what a technician does and why Navistar needs to always consider them our customer. A technician career enables you to network with various vendors that supply us parts to build trucks, hundreds of hours of training to gain knowledge, and the ability to work directly with the OEM (Navistar) on diagnostics and repair. I’ve been with Navistar now for nine years and in that time, I have had the opportunity to work in various areas of the company. My favorite was being a “road warrior” for 2 years, going around the country fixing trucks! Now, I am responsible for an entire contact center operation with more than 60 employees that help all our dealer technicians on a daily basis.
